It is an exciting time to be a Jaguar! MAUE is a spectacular place, and this year will be full of excitement and growth! As the assistant principal of Madison Avenue Upper Elementary, I will strive to help all students grow throughout their time here academically and socially.
I received my Bachelor's in Biology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. I received my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and my Specialist in Education Leadership from the University of Mississippi. I received my doctorate from Belhaven University in 2023. I began teaching in Meridian, MS, at Meridian High School. After teaching Biology for several years, I joined the Mississippi Principal Corps. Principal Corps gave me the opportunity to come to Madison and learn from the best. I love experiencing the joys of elementary school. I am honored to be at MAUE. I served as the administrative intern at the school during the 2016-2017 year and was brought onto the team during the 2017-2018 school year.
